ROPE'S-END PROTECTORS is a useful and very simple solution to the problem of fraying ends of rope
delivered in an attractive pack containing:

14 pieces of white bands of UV-stable plastic of three different sizes
for all ropes with diameters ranging from 5 to 19 mm.

simple instructions.
The bands are simply placed over the end of ropes and heat shrunk to fit
by a naked flame. The resulting "plastic whippings" offer robust, strong
and neat seals to the end of ropes. A solution that is far better than
winding an end with insulating tape or merely burning it with a cigarette
lighter - and far quicker than whipping the end in the traditional way
with a needle ant thread.
The bands are also suitable for covering an eye-splice, for example,
or to act as position-markers.
